Due to the fact that I'm noticing a bunch of forum spam from bots and such recently, is it possible to restrict posting on any accounts until they've been vetted by an admin?

Yarr!

The problem with being open minded, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and putting things in it.

We can try reporting it via the report button. I'm not sure if SMF has an automatic delete topic action for so many reports in it...that may just be phpbb.

I keep bumping up the security and spam dies down a bit but it always comes back...   I think you are right Camo, I'm going to make it so I have to approve accounts.

I'm not sure if SMF has that, Delta, but it would be cool (although potentially abuse prone).
