I've decided to test out Google Sites by creating a site where we can upload images or music or whatever. It's not huge, and limited to 100MB, but as far as I can tell, isn't going to delete stuff in a year, which tinypic does (for example, all the pictures in the world map thread were deleted) If this is successful, I'll be moving all the pictures from the big how to archive over to it to prevent them all vanishing.

Right now only Jonny, DELTA, and Phantom Finoke can upload there, (you need a gmail address) but if you've got one, and send it to me in a private message, I'll add you to the list of people who can upload files. Currently, you should be able to post news, upload files, and edit pages.

If there isn't a picture below this, then don't worry, because you're hallucinating that this post exists, or Google has blocked third party access to the site and it's useless for file uploads anyways. Otherwise, click on it to be taken to the site.

Total. I'm not sure what happens after that, if they take the site down, or just don't let you upload stuff. I'll try to delete stuff people are no longer using though so that doesn't happen.

By the way, I'd like to know if it works, and if people can see it, so that I can move the Big How To Archive pictures over

Well there is an 11 mb file limitation.  I tried to put the DA client up there just to test if I could but it was too big lol.  But yes I can access it.

I still can't see it. I think I'm going to have to give up on the site for image hosting, at least, image hosting for the forums.

I know it's just me, you both have said you can see it. I'm just wondering why. If I can't see images from it, there would be no point really in switching things over until I can figure it out.
