We have an urgent matter on our hands. I've noticed some big problems happening. I told ZAPPERPOST and he thinks that the mySQL database is damaged. Here are some errors:

DB e107 Site:
CRITICAL_ERROR:
Line : generic, class2.php

Error reported as: [6]: Unable to form a valid connection to mySQL. Please check that your e107_config.php contains the correct information.

DB Forums:
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

(I only get this error every now and then)

The problems seem to be happening less frequently, ZAPPERPOST thought what was causing the server to act weird was either the hard drive was damaged or it was overheating, maybe it was overheating and it got vented.

I have have a raid array, so his hard drive theory is extremely unlikely.  Overheating does not make sense either.  If you can get on the site at all then the server is fine.  I would imagine it was either a fluke or an internet connection issue.  Let me know if it happens again and post the exact date/time.

It happened a few times here, a couple times on my e07 and then a few of time on the forums. It hasn't happened recently so that's good.

When it happened, did it affect everything or just one site/forum?

IT was sort of everything, but it took a few minutes for the other sites besides my forum to get the error too. But I never bothered to check for an error on your news site, and on this forum there was just an error every now and then.

Cool. So your computer didn't blow up. I was already day dreaming about the fumes coming out of Jonny's chimney.

It is Windows, but Apache runs on almost every OS known to humanity.  Smiley
