Ok, so as I said in the post in OT, we need more discussion around here. I'll be posting mapping changes and things here, feel free to discuss these, add ideas for what to do next, and comment on things. Don't think that this is a replacement for discussion on other threads though, we need that too, and once some life comes back to these forums, I'll be letting this thread go cold. The purpose here is to get people coming and have something new to talk about.

Do we have a village/town yet?  I don't remember seeing one.

We have a town in the southeast corner of the main map, but I think I need to update it and/or add stuff.

Update on mapping: Created one interior map for the cave on map 5. The interior map is on map 97.  I'm planning a larger cave system with a few monsters in it, any thoughts on the monsters? I'm thinking skeletons, warriors, and possibly some other types once big npcs are fixed.

Cool this sounds like a great idea! Maybe Jonny could code an automatic thing that records all actions, and he could then copy and paste the actions on the forums!

An automatic thing might get a bit boring, I'm pretty sure I can be more interesting than something showing when I was walking and when I was editing maps, and with less work too.  Tongue

Besides, Jonny's having enough trouble with getting 3.0 out as it is.  Wink

Well not walking, just show when you save a map and it will say which map you edited if you renamed a map...

I suppose he may do something like that if he decides to have an undo button as part of the map editor.

Update: Tweaked a few things on map 97 (the cave room I made previously)

Note: Don't walk into the hole, it'll hurt.

Yeah, I've found that I'm making more pits of death lately, like the one just north of the town. I might have to remove a few.  Tongue

Would this require heaven/hell maps?  I've got a few ideas for those.

I'm not quite sure yet.  I'm thinking each religion (or lack of religion) will have it's own "death", based on the beliefs of that group.  We'll see what happens.
