Now that I am 85% sure that it will work, I feel better about letting details slips.

I will answer 20 yes/no questions.   Lips sealed

First clue:  DirectX 8

(Trainmaster, no telling!)

W00ts! I so called that!  Tongue

Speaking of secret projects, I've been making some new maps, updating old ones, and generally making the castle even better than before. That along with a few new areas, including a ship, an infinitely large maze, and a new house in the forest. There are also rumours flying about totally inconspicuous talking bushes.

CAMO WAIT WE HAVE TO EVENLY DIVIDE THE QUESTIONS! I get 19 and you guys get the rest...lol...

Is it a completely different engine you made yourself from scratch? Is it an addon to the current engine? will it have a Quest system, and map sharding?! Will it be 4D or 5D or just plain old 2 and 3D?

Is it an addon to the current engine?

Yes.

Is it a completely different engine you made yourself from scratch?

I am making (it is about half done) the addon myself (with some help/refrence from Spodi, vbGORE, and Planet Source Code).

will it have a Quest system, and map sharding?! Will it be 4D or 5D or just plain old 2 and 3D?

...

No

(Though, to make it work I may have to add partial map sharding. Basically, the server knows that the maps are separate, the client kind of knows, but pretends it doesn't.)

When do you think it will be done (this doesn't count as a question does it?)

When do you think it will be done?

Not sure.  A month at max, unless something fails epically.  Two weeks at minimum.

(this doesn't count as a question does it?)

Nope, it counts as two.   Lips sealed

Then why are you still asking?

Because there is more.

I believe we are at 7.  That means 13 to go.  Smiley

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Does adding extra question marks at the end of a sentence make it count as extra questions???

Are there any other significant updates with this next release?

Didn't you specify yes/no questions in your first post?

Wouldn't answering yes to the previous question make one wonder why you didn't follow through and not answer DELTA's questions, or dudop's question about DELTA's asking of questions?

Have you ever eaten dried rice as breakfast cereal?
