Gameplay Tut

With Pictures!

Numbers:
1.Brings up window and tells you what is you level and also shows your stats, when you get stat points there will be a + sign next to all 4 stats, if you click the + it will level up the stat and spend a stat point
2.A window comes up and tells you how many of these tings you have left (in a bar)
Health Points
Mana Points
Experience Points
Stamina(how long you can run)
3.Opens up inventory window(shows all your belongings)
4.Brings up equipment window(shows everything equipped on yourself)
5.Opens up window that shows all your spells
6.Opens up window that shows your guild info
7.If you click on another in-game person(not npcs! See number 25 for npc)and click this you can have a private chat
8.Opens window that shows everyone else that is currently online
9.Opens up window that shows a list of you friends, and options to add/ remove a friend
10.Opens up window with game options
11.If you click that it closes the game
12.Tells you current version
13.Distant Ages Logo
14.Click this to open up a window that allows you to report a bug to the server(try to post it on the forums too)
15.Click this to open up a window that allows you to make a request to make the game better (try to post it on the forums too)
16.Click this to open up a window that allows you to say your max FPS from speed test(try to post it on the forums too)
17.Click this to unlock the fps gap and allow your game speed to be much faster(please, please don't keep it on for more than a minute, this is only for testing purposes)
18.You fps(frames per second, basically how fast your going)
19.If you type into this then press enter it will send a chat message to everyone else
20.This is the chat log, you can see every message posted by either the server, admin, or other players
21.It is pointing to the whole window by the way, that window is the npc speech window, it allows you to talk with npcs but not in a real way, it isn't even artificial intelligence, it is just preset replys

24.Your different choices of responding to the npc
25.And npc(non person controlled, monsters are also npcs, they are basically just computer programs)
26.Blank space, there will be no blank space with the new GUI I made( a GUI is basically the game layout, it is just an image brought to life)

Admin Panel Tut

How to open the Admin Panel:
Press F1 if you are Admin (currently all users are made admin)


1.Bans player from game so they cannot log in anymore (you have to enter the players name in number 7), you must have a very good reason to ban someone!!!!
2.Warps you to the player (you have to enter the players name in number 7)
3.Warps player to you (you have to enter the players name in number 7)
4.Boots player from game so they have to login again (you have to enter the players name in number 7), you need a good reason to boot someone!
5.Changes someones access level (you have to enter the players name in number 7, you must also input the access in number 6)
6.The access level you want to set for player(I'm not exactly sure of all the access levels I'll check later)
7.This is where you input someones name if you want to use numbers 1-5  and 14
8.Tells you your exact coordinates in the chat box
9.Refreshes the map you are on
10.Shows you all the maps in a list and what the map number is
11.Warps you to the map number you input in number 12
12.Input the map number you want to warp to then click number 11
13.Changes your sprite(a sprite is what your character looks like, and you need to input the sprite number you want in number 15)
14.You enter the players name in number 7 and the sprite number you want their sprite to change to in number 15 then click it
15.Input the desired sprite number in this for numbers 13 and 14
PS: So far the only way to view sprites is number 20
16.Opens map editor(I will make a tut for this too)
17.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit Spells in/out of the system
18.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit Items in/out of the system
19.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit Shops in/out of the system
20.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit NPCs in/out of the system(this is also for viewing sprites)
21.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit Arrows in/out of the system
22.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit Emotions in/out of the system
23.Allows you to Delete, Add, and Edit NPC Speech in/out of the system(this is how you make it so NPCs can talk with you, it is a little confusing so I will make a tut on it)
24.This is the weather editor, it allows you to apply weather, ex. you click rain, it starts raining

Start Menu Tut

With Pictures!

1.Login, this is pretty self explanatory, once you create a new account with number 2 you can use this to login to the game using what you entered in number 2
2.New Account, use this to create a new account so you can login to the game, there was a tutorial earlier by The Camo on how to make a new account
3.Delete Account, use this to delete an account you don't want, just fill in the account's password and username
4.IP Config, use this to set which server you're connecting to but you shouldn't have to change it, and once again The Camo made another tutorial on this earlier
5.Credits,lets be honest you don't want to know who made this, you just want to play, but it will tell you who made the game.
6.Exit, click it and it closes the game
7.If you set the auto login option in the login box and login in, next time you play if you click auto login in you won't have to input your password or username, you just play.
