We could have diamond as a upgrade material for making your weapons like plus one or forging different stone in, you take your sword, forging material(diamond), to a blacksmith and he will use the diamond and some cash to make your sword a better rock or a higher level (but there is a chance of breaking)

You mean like adding diamonds to the sword/armor to make it stronger? So it would be like this:
Copper
Copper w/ Diamond
Bronze
Bronze w/ Diamond
Iron
Iron w/ Diamond
Steel
Steel w/ Diamond
We should make up a metal that is better than steel.

I'm not so sure I like that idea the way it is. I think it needs some tweaking.
Maybe sapphires for lower level amours?
Emeralds...
Rubys...
Diamonds for higher level?
You get the point.

OK
1: I absolutely hate weapon durability. In real life, weapons DULL. Very rarely do they break. I think we should have some sort of level of sharpness.
2: I never understood how, in games, having a sword made out of a different metal would do more damage. I think damage should be how good your "technique" (as I said in a different topic) should be how much damage you'll do.
3: I think every weapon should have its own "special ability," not damage or attack. Maybe one weapon is enchanted with fire, and another weapon is long and can hit multiple targets (if possible. I played a game call Hero Online in which the "spears" will hit every monster within range of the monster you are actually targeting).
So, all in all... Damage should be determined by sharpness (which you can enhance with a blacksmith or an ability you can learn) and your skill level with that weapon. More damage can also be dealt if the monster is weak against whatever the weapon is enchanted with.
Tell me what you think.

well we choose to do the metal system because some metal's might be hard, and stay sharper longer than other swords with lower metal's that make them up, and this is how they can get stronger. Also PF it is a game it shouldn't be completely real life(this is one of the reasons I hated runescape, to real).

Well, I guess I'm all for the different metals are harder, so certain metals could stay sharper longer, but still... You'd have to be swinging a weapon at a metal rod for a while to actually break it. Besides, I don't know about you, but I don't really think I'm going too overboard with realism. I'm just giving my opinions on what I think would make the game fun. At least I'm not suggesting we spend hours trying to make it so the sprite moves exactly like a real human does... that would be scary... And almost impossible for ... 5 people that are just trying to have fun with this hehehe

Real human sprite movement? I'll add that right after the AI that can read your mind to instantly develop a counter defense.
I hate weapon durability as well. Especially because there is a set number of uses it has before it breaks.
I like the sharpness idea. Maybe after awhile the weapon "dulls" and only does half of the damage it did before. It could have a "(D)" or "(Dull)" after the name to show that it is dull. That would be simpler than having a bunch of dullness levels.

Yeah. It could also have only 3 different dullness "levels."
At a certain point of overuse, it would say "slightly dull" or something. Then just "dull" and then "very dull"...
Just something like that would be ok.

And then you take it to the black smith to get it sharper(but if you sharpen a blade more than about 2 -3 times after that it might break while the sharpening process is going on

That would be cool. It could also be that there are a few decent blacksmiths that say they can't sharpen it any further.
